P-51 Mustang Fighter Plane WWII Airplane

Production. P-51 ("Mustang) fighter planes. A group of North American employees at the Inglewood, California, plant, put the finishing touches on a P-51 fighter before it goes to the flight test crew. This plant produced the battle-tested B-25 ("Billy Mitchell") bomber, used in General Doolittle's raid on Tokyo, and the P-51 fighter plane which was first brought into prominence by the British raid on Dieppe
