The Kitchen Table Gang  The Kitchen Table Gang Trust is a rag-tag bunch of military types trying to make life a little more pleasant for our hospitalized veterans at VA Hospitals throughout the United States and our soldiers & Marines deployed overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Wreaths Across America    Wreaths Across America, places wreaths on the graves of veterans. By 2008 over 300 locations held wreath laying ceremonies in every state, Puerto Rico and 24 over seas cemeteries.  Over 100,000 wreaths were placed on veterans graves.  Over 60,000 volunteers participated.

WWII Families for the Return of the Missing They work jointly with JPAC (Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command), DPMO (Defense Prisoner of War/Missing Personnel Office), and the Repatriation Divisions of the US Armed Services to bring final resolution to the Families and Friends of our Missing American Personnel from World War II.    They advocate for the Families and Friends to bring these service members home to their Final Resting Place.

500th Bomb Squadron Association  Everything you could want to know about the 500th Bomb Squadron ("Rough Raiders"). The 500th Bomb Squadron was on of four squadrons of the 345th Bomb Group, 5th Air Force, WWII. Very interesting site. Nice collection of photos.

VI Corps Combat Engineers This site features information regarding the 36th (2826th, 2827th & 2828th), 39th, 540th (2832nd & 2833rd) and the 1108th (48th & 235th) Combat Engineer Regiments, who bravely fought against the Axis powers from North Africa into Sicily, Italy, France, Central Europe and ended their tour of duty in Germany in 1945. It is dedicated to the father of the webmaster, Walter (Monday) Poniedzialek , of the 540th and all the other outstanding engineers of VI Corps. Any photos, stories, letters, links or other information are most welcome. I'd love to hear from veterans, their family members and friends.
